The School Readiness Committee handles a broad range of objectives:

• Carries out the shared vision of school readiness for all by focusing on quality in childcare and early education. This committee oversees the School Readiness Grant and is co-chaired by the Superintendent’s Designee and Mayor’s Designee.

• Helps to promote a successful transition to kindergarten by partnering parents, elementary schools, and early education providers.
